Full Charge Bookkeeper

The ideal candidate will not only be an excellent bookkeeper but will care for our clients and seek to work with them in a way that works well for the clients as well as our firm. They realize the importance of the role they play in our clients’ financial success.


WE WANT TO MEET YOU IF YOU ARE…
An experienced bookkeeper that is knowledgeable, accurate, and reliable
Good at relating to clients and meeting them where they are at in their financial journey
Looking for a firm that does bookkeeping differently than most other firms
Highly experienced in at least one accounting software program
Willing to learn and work on multiple accounting software programs
Able to find and fix errors in financial records
Living in the Knoxville area and be available for in-person team meetings in far West Knoxville as well as client visits in various locations


THE ROLE
Manage everything from full charge bookkeeping to clean-up work for assigned clients. Will include the following:

  • Entry of activity

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Make and Record Deposits

  • Invoice preparation

  • Accounts Payable

  •  Accounts Receivable

  • Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations

  • Error-Checking

  •  Payroll

  • Sales tax

Assist other staff as needed
Visit clients to pick up documents or meet in person to discuss their business needs
Regular use of Excel and Word
Actively assist in the growth of the company, helping with transitions in personnel and software
Open to learning and change
Able to work independently and productively without regular supervision, meeting firm deadlines as required
Available 4-5 days a week for 3-4 hours a day, on a regular schedule, with an opportunity that will likely grow in hours as the business grows

Team Assistant

We are looking for someone to take care of both our clients and the team from an administrative standpoint. They must also realize the importance of the role they play in the team and the clients’ financial success.


WE WANT TO MEET YOU IF YOU ARE…

An experienced assistant that is knowledgeable, accurate, and reliable
Extremely organized and good at implementing organization for a team 
Good at relating to clients and team members and meeting them where they are at
Looking for a firm that works differently than most firms in the way it treats its clients and its team
Expert in Word and experienced with Excel
Willing to learn and work on multiple software platforms
Living in the Knoxville area and be available for in-person team meetings in far West Knoxville 


THE ROLE

Take the lead on the implementation of workflow and task management software
Manage client relationships
•    Be the caretaker of all client information
•    Set up client meetings
•    Send information to new clients such as agreements, set up information, etc.
•    Care for our clients with preparation and mailing of cards and gifts
•    Additional client care as needed
Assist owner with various organizational tasks
•    Email organization and response
•    Client communication
•    Assistance with scheduling
•    Typing up on various notes and blog posts from handwritten notes
•    Additional owner care as needed
Create Facebook and Instagram posts and post to Facebook and Instagram twice a week
Actively assist in the growth of the company, helping with transitions in personnel and software
Assist other team members as requested
Open to learning and change
